Hello buddy,

A testing manager uses two types of charts to track and communicate the progress of the allocated project these two charts are burn down and burn up.

A burndown chart indicates how much work is remaining to be performed in the given project, whereas a burn up indicates how much work has been done by the team, and the total amount of work.

These charts are especially widely used in Agile testing services and Scrum software project management.

In a given image you can clearly see the difference between the burn down and burn up charts.
