About The Author

Mrs. Terrye Ashby is currently Vice President of Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing for Pointe Technology Group, Inc. Mrs. Ashby is responsible for implementing the total quality management program for establishing and managing software testing contracts for Pointe.

Mrs. Ashby joined Pointe Technology two years ago after a 14-year career with Bell Atlantic, a regional Bell operating company. Beginning as a COBOL programmer, MRs. Ashby has been involved in every aspect of software development. Just prior to leaving Bell Atlantic, she established quality improvement processes and managed system, regression and performance test teams for several multi-million dollar telecommunications applications.

Mrs. Ashby holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee University where she graduated mangna cum laude. She is also a certified product specialist and certified product instrutor for the Mercury Interactive suite of automated test tools.
