Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to explain a new approach to the estimation of software testing efforts based on use case points (UCP) as a fundamental project estimation measure. This methodology for estimation is in fact more reliable than functional point [FP]. It works on the basic principle that the greater complexity of the use case, more time will be needed to design, develop, test, and implement each use case.
