My collegue has suggested we start using TTM or test traceability matrix for our testing. I've heard of RTM, requirements traceability matrix, but not TTM. How are they different and how would I go about implementing them?
Those are basically the same thing. Requirements in columns, tests in rows, X's on what requirements each test hits, make sure every requirement is hit at least once.
That's the basic argument for it. In practice they are a bit silly and unmanagable, but that's the theory.
