This ia a very difficult questino to answer. ETL or performance testing are both fine specialties to persue. ETL is useful for companies dealing with large amounts of data or analytics tools. Full time performance testers are most used by large companies with semi-established products. I would suggest you talk with people that work in these specialties full time and decide what you are interested in.
