leadership Questions

An organization is to undertake a multi-phased project. The sponsor wants to pursue the project objectives as they have been planned but also wants to accommodate and adjust to new information and changes in the environment as the project progresses.

Greetings to everybody.

I'm presently working in the automation department, where I need to prepare test strategy documents. However, I've never done so before, so I'm unsure of what to include.

Background of the project: We need to build a test strategy document for a new UI and functional implementation because we are in the e-commerce industry (Revamp of Basket page and checkout Page)

The POM-MSTest c# framework is available.

I have read various articles where sample templates for strategy documents were obtained, however I am at a loss for words for an ecommerce domain project.

Can somebody assist me with this?

I am new to testing and my mentor at the company is asking me to get my base strong with regards to manual testing. I know java and made few demo projects with selenium - browser automation and rest assured - API testing . They are expecting me to have better test cases coverage and base needs to be strong . So , anybody knows few blogs/resources from which I can get my foundation strong?

I am on a team of two working on standardizing testing for the company. The culture here is very resistant to change, as I am sure many colleagues on here have experienced themselves. I want to continue pushing this elephant up the stairs, but I am afraid some of these templates (IEEE 829 standard templates) are too dense for most of them. My mentality right now is to take this in strides. I want to avoid creating a 12 part test plan that people need to follow if they are just going to get defensive and say they do not have the time to even test, or test this way. Of course we have plans to educate as much as we can, but this is going to take years. What are your suggestions, then, with creating templates? Right now I have identified three that need to be used across all teams (Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Summary). We have plans on creating a best practice document/resource for teams to educate them on the industry standards.

Hey there: does it make sense to use korean characters in URLS to rank well in Naver. Does Naver even include URLS in its algorithm?

The Zephyr Api: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.thed.zephyr.zapi/cloud/installation

Power BI: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/

Has anyone managed to actually integrate the api into Power BI? and if so how did you do it? The jira rest-api has been integrated but vital information based on test cycles is all missing.

Is there a free alternative to ZAPI to expose that data as well?

Thank you!

I am searching for a good book and a good training class.

I have begun to manage agile testing in my organization, and I have a lot to learn!

I am into Test Management, Mostly manual one. I have done Prince2. I have seen people often debating about Project Management Vs Agile.

Have seen people asking this question in various forums. What do you think is the best fixt or the right fit in current industry,

Project Management (PMP/Prince-2) or Agile (ACP-PMI/SAFe)
