Excellent read, it offers great knowledge into development practises for both Developers and Mangers, a must read for all.
Excellent survey of current software development best practices, covering different software lifecycles and emphasizing the people factor in software development. The book also includes some of the most informative chapters I have ever read (e.g. classic mistakes, software development fundamentals, risk management, estimation, and scheduling), which make it suitable for students and professionals alike.
