This is Free Content Blue Diamond Delivery Model (BDDM)
Author(s): Manoj Kumar Varatharajan
Summary: Blue Diamond Delivery Model (BDDM) is an easier delivery-tracking model, which helps to track the delivery for every day and gives some valuable remarks over the certitude of the deliverables. The Diamond Model is fragmented into the number of workdays per month and the deliverables are eventually distributed across these workdays prior to the Project Plan. Everyday results should be tracked with respect to the time period by naming as Best Period, Grace Period, Warning Period & Failure Period and shade them as Blue, Green, Red and Black respectively (as per the delivery time). The Reasons behind the timely and untimely deliverables are noted and maintained in the history.

This is Free Content Warriors of QA: Part 1
Author(s): Laura Rose
Summary: Let's face it: Software testers are constantly in a state of warfare, figuratively speaking. There's a tug of war between resources and the amount of work that needs to be done. We struggle against time. We juggle between finding defects and validating fixes. In short, we are warriors, and it's the high performing testers who are successful in battle. In this article, I will consider Sun Tsu ancient strategies in his book The Art of War and apply them to the realm of the high performing software test engineer. These same fundamental principles define our best means for success on the battle field, in the board room, or in the development labs.

This is Free Content Project Change, a Way of Life
Author(s): Jurgen Appelo
Summary: In this article, Jurgen Appelo links science's complexity with agile software development. Jurgen attempts to show why there is no such thing as a best software development method, why managing scope is a too simplistic interpretation of the principle of "embracing change", why corporate standards for processes are a bad thing, and why you will never get things exactly right. The article includes comparisons to biology and other types of complex systems, several little nuggets of wisdom, and some personal experiences involving Jurgen's car.

This is Free Content What Does Done Mean?
Author(s): Robbie Mac Iver
Summary: How to determine if a developer is "done" with a particular piece of code is often not well defined. As result software development projects can incur significant rework of features previously thought to be completed, and the quality of the overall solution can be compromised in an effort to make amends. For Agile teams in particular, there must be a clear and consistent meaning of "done" and the team must be able to quickly demonstrate it. Here is one way to define and quickly validate what it means to be "done."
