About the Author
William E. J. Ginn has experience in testing localization of US software products into Japanese, including clients such as Primus, Allaire, Autodesk, Microsoft, and Nortel Networks. Jumping onto the .COM boom, he built a QA team of 21, and survived working up to 110 hours a week to come out of 6 rounds of layoffs with a small but intact QA team. Consistent in all these experiences is the battle that is inherent for QA: fighting the chaos and immaturity of this driven industry to bring stability and affecting positive
change for an organization while preserving sanity and jobs for staff.
