StarEast Testing Conference Takeaways
May 27, 2014
Earlier this month we were at the StarEast software testing conference in Orlando, Florida with over 100+ networking and learning opportunities.
Here are just some of the takeaways:
Mastery may require that you "unlearn" some things. Repetition is good. @rricetester #WaxOnWaxOff #stareast— StickyMinds (@StickyMinds)
Performance is the first thing users interact with, don't lose them in the blink of an eye. @ShaneEvansLR#stareastpic.twitter.com/8NGO3ZSUL8 -— HP Software ALM (@HPSoftwareALM)
From @sbarber @SmartBear: "Performance Lifecyle starts at conception, NOT at the cradle!" Brilliant! #STAREAST — Skytap (@Skytap)
My top takeaway from #StarEast is that Testing isn't dead. Long live Test! -Shane Evans (@ShaneEvansLR)

Lessons learned at #stareast: Tests that pass only show us that a product CAN work, not that it WILL work .— Mike Trites (@mike_trites)
And the boothies:
Hey @SmartBear we'd love to see a #boothie from you :) #techwellselfie #stareast pic.twitter.com/t7Mhh6dMwt — StickyMinds (@StickyMinds)
